Spectacle overcomes distorting elements For $ 7 million, the cost of staging Aida at the Sydney Football Ground, one would expect a memorable spectacle. And indeed, that is what was delivered last night.

Aida is a remarkable experience, something not to be missed. It is a special occasion, something extraordinary; not always entirely satisfactory but something to remember. We might have winced at paying $30 to $200 for tickets but we enjoyed.
